A Petition for Stopping the Killing of the Wolves

petition here   One can sign for support and ask that your name be hidden from public view if you wish.

I signed this one, I also am sharing it here and on Facebook

I did also call the governor's office and expressed my views. The lady answering the phone was very very nice. I asked if they were just taking a poll-and she said oh no the Governor (Montana) wants to know your thinking and comments. So I did that.

Below is a copy of part of this petition

In light of the fact that Interior Secretary Haaland has chosen to advance the slaughter of wolves throughout the lower 48 including Yellowstone wolves; we are forced to demand her resignation effective immediately.

We're asking you to join us on this sad day. A day when we were expecting so much more, and this is what we got. Shame hardly covers it.

Add your name to the list and stand with wolves today
Legal action is pending but as we all know it's far to slow
They'll all be gone by the time the courts intervene

20% of Yellowstone wolves have been killed already
Entire packs wiped out

  1. Wolves just came back "here" (well, rather East Germany) and by no means they can be killed, they are endangered.
I feel with sheep farmers etc, though, too, as wolves kill but not really eat the sheep and fencing is very expensive.
I´ll join the petition. Boy, there must be a way for both sides!

P.S. Special Day, funny you! I can guess what you mean. And I wanna hide, LOL.
Elizabeth sent a Christmas card that never arrived.
Mail is not safe these days. "Days".

    1. Oh no hopefuly Elizabeth's card will show up one day all of mine have gotten to you so far.
thank you they were here endangered too, I just found out Trump had taken them off the list-but there were allot more then-also these wolves from the park are used to people watching them so these states have passed new laws where they can lure them in with bait traps etc just outside the park-not fair to these wolves-they have killed whole packs now-which has taken 25 years to built up the wolf families and has brought the eco system back to the way it should be

  3. What a sad day for the wolves. Although I can see both sides, I feel they need protecting against further endangerment.

  4. Petition signed! This is shameful! What are they thinking of! Wolves are a vital part of our ecosystem. In this part of the world the wolves are a protected species. The hunting of the Iberian wolf is banned throughout all of Spain. There is of course a lot of controversy between farmers and environmentalists but the authorities are at least working with the farmers on ways to protect their herds and flocks without harming wolves.
