I am thinking you have seen-heard the news by now. Just as the victory parade and celebration concluded shots were fired. One of the local news channels had a live feed beginning at 4:30 am The parade and events had concluded a bit before 2 in the afternoon. I had left the feed going on my computer and made us our lunch.
Kept hearing like the feed was still airing so checked and found out about the shooting. So sad that this would happen after a fun day for families.
One has died, 3 still very critical and children were targtetd as well.

ReplyDeleteI just read that today too-ridiculous and yesterday they said no children were hurt-but most were children under 16, this is so sad, and people got hurt panicking in the large crowds.
DeleteIt such a sad ending to what should have been a happy event. I hope everyone heals quickly, but it's sad that someone lost their life.

Develop mental health outlets that can be easily accessed by people, show them alternatives to violent behavior, and the consequences of what their lives will be.
we have right to carry here, but one needs to be responsible if you are going to carry-it is only for defense if needed not for an argument of some sort too sad
DeleteI have been praying and thinking of those poor people. what was the switch that made this kind of thing something that could happen? some of those games are so realistic and with the virtual reality it take them into it.

this is so sad, I read a bit yesterday that this was some sort of feud or disagreement between a few people-but over 20 people got hit with bullets, including mostly children and the person that was killed instantly was a young DJ with young children-such a tragedy. There are still 3 that are very critical in hospital.
