I just deleted my last post-was sharing my views on political events-but decided there is no need for it. We all have a right to our own conclusions of world events and more-so decided no need to share my own as in the end doesn't matter at all what I believe or conclude.
At the time I had read sooooo many blog posts on the Ukraine war that I had posted my thoughts-almost everyone of my friends here are liberals-never have figured out why most artists are liberals-but that doesn't matter at all either. I enjoy reading and seeing your creativity
I did make a yummy pineapple blueberry upside down cake yesterday. I cut me a slice for breakfast this morning. Sundays I make Larry his favorite-homemade pancakes with real maple syrup

ReplyDeleteI think my first one I used rings and I didn't like that-hard to cut into servings. I use drained crushed or these small chunks instead. It was really delicious
DeleteI agree with you that pineapple rings are hard to cut, and leave too much of the cake without a pineapple taste.

I totally agree with you Cathy-I always try to look at both sides as well. in today's society politics is toxic and the main stream media lies to ass on their agenda which doesn't help things.

DeleteI missed what your post said, but I am sure I would have agreed with you. I am creative, but not a liberal. We went to dinner with our Democrat friends. They did not vote for Pres. Trump, but do like what he is doing. Not all Dems are liking this though...but like Elon stated I feel the ones who complain the most are the ones who commit fraud the most. Not a fan of pineapple much but am sure you liked your cake. I would just eat the blueberries. Janice
ReplyDeleteGood morning I remember when I was younger we had good discussions between the right and left-not the hatred that is going on today-that needs to stop. I agree with Elon so many in congress on both sides have stolen money-hoping they find who prosecute.

Thank you for not publishing that post. You are right about everyone having their own opinion, but there are so many political posts out there right now and it just gets tiring. It's not like they are going to change anyone's mind, maybe it is just therapy getting writing it.

DeleteKathy your cake looks exceptionally delicious. My mom made pineapple upside down cake in a cast iron skillet...have never done this. Like the idea of the pineapple chunks instead of the slices. Hope your weather is good...we are to have the temperature at 61 by Weds. Seeing signs of spring and the songs of the birds tell me it is on its way. I do like the idea of tiny paintings because it seems like it is more manageable at times to work small instead of large. Well take care dear friend and have a wonderful week. Hugs!
ReplyDeleteGood morning, a lot of times I use my cast iron pan for this cake too. you can put any fruit you like on the bottom-I use mostly fresh fruits except for pineapple. Our weather is very up and down right now=but it is that time of year. enjoy your painting journey with the tiny paintings-I look forward to see them hugs
