I missed the eclipse last night but before that the moon was bright and large. Caught a few photos as it was getting dark
If you are not familiar I watch sky events here at the Virtual Telescope Project
My new camera takes fairly good photos at this time of day.
This morning the daffodils are blooming-I thought I had more planted than just these few clumps. I love tulips but don't plant them anymore here in Missouri-the wildlife dig them up for food-smiles
I am making us fajitas for our 2 pm main meal-one of Larry's favorites. I make refried beans to go with it as well.
We are bracing for a threatening storm-stay safe everyone-this is pretty wide spread.
I did see the eclipse it was small and higher up than I expected -Christine cmlk79.blogspot.com

DeleteBelieve it or not i did stay up to see the eclipse.... it was lovely... I caught it just before it was the fully eclipse , so still a little bright edge to it.. beautiful... Great moon photos! I'm making BBQ chicken legs in the crockpot today and a salad... :) A bed of sliced onions... pull the skin off the chicken legs...lay them on the onions... Mix up your fav BBQ sauce and mustard and apricot preserves and pour over the top... 3 hours later... DONE! Its been a while since i made them....should be good.. .Stay safe in the coming bad weather kathy! St. Patty's Day card coming your way!! Hugs! deb
ReplyDeleteI messed up the timing of the eclipse and just missed it Your BBQ sounds delicious-crock pots and slow cookers are great aren't they? This is the first year that I can rememer not making us corn beef and cabbage the price were just too high and they were very small cuts too Not sure what I will make us tomorrow happy new week
DeleteI did stay up to see the eclipse. It was beautiful. I hope the storm has passed and you are both doing well.
ReplyDeleteNothing blooming here but the snow is melting fastly.
Cathy

DeleteI missed the eclipse as well. I noticed today my neighbors azalea bush is starting to bloom. A sign of Spring here in the North. Love those dafs. Janice
ReplyDeleteI have not seen an azalea since I lived in North Carolina back in the late ''70's those are so pretty
DeleteKathy thought of you with all the severe storms and tornados. Pray you and Larry were safe. I was out in the moonlight but didn't see the eclipse. Your daffodils are a wonderful sight. At last winter is beginning to leave us and spring is saying "Hello". Have a delightful day sweet friend. P.S. Got your lovely card - thank you. Hugs!
