  2. This looks like a good heartwarming story, I hope we can find somewhere showing it here. We used to get Hallmark at our old house but not here strangely! Hubby and I are so jealous of you seeing those eagles - I hope they stay around! Have a great weekend, Hugs, Chrisx

    1. This pair lives around here so we do see them off an on-always up in that tree-once in awhile we see them flying. I love Hallmark channels, it is mostly what I watch these days

  4. I love movies like those. I will look for them. You are very lucky to have eagles. I have seen them flying here, and one on the ground-but have never heard them. They don't live near us:(

  5. Thank you for sharing this movie recommendation. I like Hallmark movies. And you are so lucky to have Bald Eagles in your backyard. I wonder if the third eagle was a grown up child. Bald Eagles mate for life, so that couple will chase off an interloper. And I also think once their "kids" are adults and able to care for themselves, they chase them off, too. Bald Eagles are slowly making a come back here in Connecticut. They are a magnificent bird.

    1. Yes I am thinking the third one was one of their "kids" we sometimes see one of the kids in early spring. I so enjoy watching them, and it makes me smile when hear them singing.
      I love Hallmark movies too

  6. I am totally fascinated with eagles and all raptors. How wonderful to live in a place where you can watch them day after day. Thank you for the movie recommendation. We may skip our old western this Saturday evening. :~)

  8. I saw that movie some years ago, and haven't seen it in some time. Will look for it today! I'm in the mood for Thanksgiving theme movies, but there aren't many out there. I wish Hallmark would turn some of their Christmas budget over to Thanksgiving. Most of the stories would work just as well.

  9. Reminds me of the movie "It's a Wonderful Life" - a must at Christmas-time!
Stupid as it sounds, I look forward to it. Every time a bell rings...

  10. I'm not usually into sappy Christmas movies, but this one sounds good, since I haven't read the book. I hope to watch it once I catch up with everyone.

How lucky you now have at least three bald eagles. You are SO blessed with the two parents, and now maybe one of their offspring?

  11. Actually I don't think I have seen that film. Hopefully it will be on over the Christmas season! If they put Little Women on again this year I will scream...it seems a fixed thing to put that film on (the old version) every Christmas on Spanish TV!! Great to see you have a family of eagles now... very regal company! keep well Amanda x
