We had nice windows at the woods home but the house did not sit so one could see the sunset, sunrise, or moon from any windows. So I have been really enjoying these views.

That is just beautiful. I like how the tree branches look like fingers delicately holding the moon.
ReplyDeleteThat full moon is making us a bit nutty. DH was up at 4:45 am because it was so bright that he thought it was after 7!!!
ReplyDeleteI really wanted a photo of the moon, but I would have had to go outside in the frigid cold, so decided it was not worth it. You got a fabulous shot, dear. LOVE what CJ said, too.
ReplyDeleteSorry Kathy. I saw your comment and wanted to explain that the first background may not have turned out well because I may have allowed the paint to dry too long before I was able to fully spread the baking soda. Had I just pushed the soda around the page with the brush, that might have helped. But when I stopped and removed the soda, THEN placed it on the page with my hand, the paint may have dried too much by that time. I hope that helps explain your concern.

ReplyDeleteSo nice that your house sits in a way that you have full view of the moon. It was like that for us at our condo, and I never could close those curtains after going to bed at night. Watching the moon became more important. It is awe-inspiring!
