We have rain and lots of it this morning-a good thing. Most of our country has been low on rain this year.
Started out with lots of wind and lightening, now it seems to be a steady rain-very thankful as we really really needed it.
Thank you for the birthday wishes for Larry-he was a bit surprised that he turned 80 this year-we never kept track of our ages much. I did throw a big party for his 75th birthday at the woods house.
I set up the Halloween luminaries last week and last night turned on the little battery tea lights-Fun! I have them in both windows

Update: evening-it is still raining here at 6:40 pm will check out the rain gauge tomorrow. for the heck of it I checked to see if there were thanksgiving luminaries and there is-haha found them on Amazon and they even included the tea lights-which is a first. a lot of mind are getting old so I like that.
Well we got 6 drops...lol sigh... It all passed just a hair's breadth to the North of us... I mean really close... Going down in the 50's tonite though and only 82 for a high tomorrow... then the temps go back up but not hitting 90 I don't think... this Summer just goes on and on... unusual , even for us here in West Central TX... Awww... love your Halloween bags :) We are all decked out... with decorations... Haven't put our spooky tree out yet but hubby has been a little under the weather so we'll get to it.. says he feels a little better today.. I'm the one who keeps track of our Birthday numbers and Anniversary number... I'm the Keeper of such things..lol I'm the one who tries to do some Genealogy too... Today is a big neighborhood Garage Sale event... we don't participate but the number of cars driving around is crazy... It will be over by noon.. We keep saying one year we will participate but it starting a 7am has been a deterrent ...lol Neither one of us wants to get up early enough to be ready... Nice visit with you Kathy... ReplyDeleteGood morning a neighborhood garage sale would be a great way to sell things-more people coming in-if you could set up in your garage-you would just have t open up the big doors-smiles.
