Happy Monday,
This was a fun football weekend for me as my three teams that I follow all won their games. The Green Bay Packers V Cowboys was the most exciting-it ended up in a tie 40-40
This week promises loads of sunshine and summer like temperatures.
My new monitor is awesome-my blog here is still a mess-have no way of knowing how to fix it-so it is what it is.
At least I can work in my blog, but still when I comment back on my own post-I am not signed in and have to approve my own comments-pretty strange. I have no knowledge of computers so nothing I can do about this-haven't found a way to even contact google for help-so hopefully one day it will be fixed. I figure it could be worse.
With our temps being back to hot and humid a good week to give the house a really good cleaning-including windows. I need to clean up the garden area-so may start doing that early in the morning while still cool.

I picked up this pretty pumpkin and will get out a few Halloween items that I have had for years. and Wow October is almost here-September flew by way too fast

DeleteWe are away from home on a road trip to PA, but I am trying to catch up on blog commenting, Kathy. Good news on the new monitor, but not so much on the freezer and it does seem that things fail all at once😕. I have never heard of having to use your SSN for an account so would be wary of that too. We have Amazon Prime and my husband uses it way more than myself. That said, it has come in handy when I’ve needed things not readily available in area stores.

DeleteSo good to see you! And i have no knowledge to fix your computer... i'd be just as lost... At least its still working and you can make a post! Hot here too but not terribly so ... the mornings are beautiful and as soon as the sun goes down the temp does too... Such an improvement! So glad you are enjoying your monitor... i work off a laptop... never thought i could get use to one as we always had a desk top but now i love it and can't imagine not using it.. We were so rooting for Dallas... hey were from TX! lol Take care my friend! Hugs! deb
ReplyDeletewe had a laptop for awhile I really liked it--was expensive at the time but if finally broke they are nice can you take them around where you want them I liked having my kindle books on it because it showed colored like a real book. that was an exciting game the teams were so even glad it was a te. I love the cool down at night too hugs
DeleteThat has happened before where I’d see a spam message in the folder and it was a comment I made. Funny! Just google glitches that usually work themselves out. Google hasn’t had any updates with Blogger in years.

DeleteFrom what I read on the google website, if you change to pop up or full page comments, you shouldn't have problems.

ReplyDeleteI agree this issues usually get fixed at some point. I changed my comments to what Elizabeth suggested-but doing that I can no longer comment back so went back to the imbed comments september just flew right be me smiles

ReplyDeleteWhat you describe sounds like the problem I have with using my cell phone vs my laptop. One recognizes me when I’m signed in and the other doesn’t because of my cookie settings. Unless I allow Google something I haven’t figured out what, I have to add my name and approve my replies. On some blogs, my blog name is recognized while on others I’m anonymous. I hope that hells some.

DeleteI have a similar issue with my comments on my own blog- I have to approve my own comments on blogger too. However, it does show my name when I comment on other blogs. We are enjoying the weather while it is still warm however, tomorrow we are supposed to cool off and have a low of 48 degrees. Nice pumpkin
