Happy Earth Day Kathy. Go out and smell those lilacs (for me-smile). I am still jealous you have them blooming already. Have a wonderful day. Hugs-Erika
I always celebrated Earth Day, but it’s not really a “feel good” day like it was in the past. Humans have accepted very little about the sad direction our planet is headed. Living near an ocean, seeing many, many disappearing beaches, and the horrific destruction from storms, makes it impossible to recognize the permanent environmental damage we are allowing. Perhaps future generations, *far* into the future (if mankind even survives that long) will begin to see some improvement. I say a prayer for this everyday, but that’s just me.
Happy Earth Day, Kathy. I tend to agree with Barbara, but while we are on lock down, the earth (and nature) has had a chance to overcome some of the environmental issues that has been thrown its way the past few years. Let's just hope we learned something from this experience. If not, we don't have a Planet B.
Hi Kathy! Happy Earth Day. Hope you have a fun one. Cheers and boogie boogie.
ReplyDeleteHappy Earth Day to you! That's a beautiful graphic you found

ReplyDeleteHappy Earth Day! I agree with Barbara. I remember the first Earth Day. I can't help but feel discouraged these days :(
ReplyDeleteYes, crazy it took so long to get here, and I do think we have another date, too, there was nothing on the news ...
ReplyDeleteBut isn´t that day here every day?
