DIY Recycle Projects-Denim

  In honor of Earth Day this month I will be posting some recycle projects.

Today I am sharing recycle from denim clothing.
 
   There are so many projects that can be made with old blue jeans. I have made quite a few quilts with them, and also deep shopping bags with them too.

Denim bags-if you Google search or check on Pinterest there are lots and lots of free patterns available for old jeans to make into all sorts of bags.
     here is a link to a bag I made  was happy to see it still here-I made my bag with the seams in front of the bag-clipped them to make raggy. I made this over 10 years ago and still use it for shopping.
   If you read my blog years and years ago you may remember this one. This is a great pattern

DIY Recycle Projects

  I thought I would join Elizabeth and share some recycle projects in honor of Earth Day this month.

  I don't have any of my own photos of projects to share at the moment-although my craft room is mostly filled with recycled wool, linen, cotton, silks from clothing-that I use in my quilting, weaving, and other projects. I also mostly buy craft items that I need from resale shops, garage sales etc before buying new.  Although I do also purchase new craft tools and materials from time to time.
