I wanted to share an artist I have been following for awhile on her You Tube Channel. I discovered her after we moved to the lake house. I may have shared her but don't remember if I did or not. I know there are artists that I follow so wanted to share.
The artist is Joanne Green

I really enjoy watching and learning from her videos It is a bit of a process but I am anxious to make some watercolor paints this summer.
I did a lot of natural dyeing in the past along with eco printing on cloth and papers-so much fun for me. This looks also fun to do.

ReplyDeleteThank you Debra, I have reached a slump since Larry's bad fall so hoping this gets me more motivated. I really enjoyed eco printing a lot-I did it on clothes, fabrics and papers lots online to learn about it

ReplyDeleteGood morning, I have really enjoyed her videos she does not usually share the details of what she is putting into the plant material and water to make it into paint-so I am anxious to get her book that comes out in June. she does answer questions though on her you tube channel and also on her instagram page

ReplyDeleteHi Erika, I am excited about her book-she announced it last year On amazon it comes out in June I didn't want to pre buy as they add shipping, I will order and get something else for no ship fees

DeleteVery interesting. But I have all these watercolors I have purchased and now I need to use them. I have dyed wool with things found in nature before most came out lovely.

It is a fun experience to dye with natural materials-I have done a lot in the past on cottons wool etc did the eco dyeing on paper and cloth-very satisfying
