Lilacs in Bloom

The first Spring here at the lake I was so excited to discover lilac bushes on our property. There are several and two different varieties  - one blooms earlier than the other one. Lilacs do spread as well and have a lovely fragrance. I have always loved them.

Here is an older photo of one of the bushes. This one is to the far right of our property close to our neighbor Joe

We were pretty warm today but lots of rain coming in again-tonight and tomorrow. I did manage to get a lot of grass cut over the weekend. I have cut this section three times already. I need to get to the other side now once the rain stops. Some areas are super tall

  Happy new week!

  4. You sure brought back a pleasant memory of the lilac trees in my parent's yard which were always so fragrant. There is a lilac tree very close to the mill apartments, which unfortunately often has its blooms removed by some folks, which means the wonderful scent cannot be enjoyed by others 😟
