Good morning Thursday,
March here in SW Missouri is feeling more and more like April every day now.
Rains every other day-so things are getting ahead of me already. I checked yesterday and for sure I need to cut grass as soon as things dry out again. sigh not ready for that yet.
I wanted to share a beautiful spring card I received in the mail from Viola in Germany. This was her first handmade card and it is really lovely. Fabrics and stitches Thank you so much Viola-I love it!
Below is a close up
Happy (early) Spring
85 degrees here today...uuughh.. way too warm..... down with another respiratory issue... In the last six months i feel like i've been sick more often than not... uuughh.. The littles have a stomach bug... hubby the respiratory thing with me.. daughter stands alone as the only one not sick.. again.. What a beautiful card you received kathy!!! The grass and weeds will still be there when you get to it...i'm up to my eyeballs with that too.. Spring is coming too soon for me... but it always does.. We have not had the rain you have though some is expected over the next several days.... we'll see.. Hugs! deb
ReplyDeletesorry illness is still hanging around for you and your family. I haven't felt all that great either for several months now-stress is a factor too I think. good you are getting rain now before your summer heat really gets going. mid 80's is a bit much already-hugs
DeleteThat is so sweet! Just as you! Your Spring-mail arrived, thank you soooo much and pop in tomorrow, if you like! You gave me another great smile - so helpful, as, oh, boy, jetlag still has it´s grip on me! And really Spring really started - hugs to you and the lake!
ReplyDeleteHappy Spring!
ReplyDeleteThe card is lovely.
Checking the NWS preditions for the next 3 months, Vermont area temperatures will be above normal. Spring will bloom here on time.
good news
DeleteWhat a wonderful handmade card. We are having rain and thunderstorms today. Tundra keeps letting us know when the thunder is approaching with his barking. He hates it. Happy Spring. Janice
ReplyDeleteThank you about the pretty card. we missed the worst of the storms today-allot of tornados in allot of states near us-we just had a watch thank goodness

I wish you sunshine, dear Kathy. A hug from Viola
Good morning Viola, I am so happy you enjoyed making cards-they are fun to do and mail out. we cooled down last night with storms coming through hugs
DeleteGorgeous card from Viola. Have a great weekend, hugs, Valerie
ReplyDeletethank you, hoping you are feeling better-hugs
DeleteHello Kathy from a first-time commenter who has seen your comments on bloggers we both read😀 Viola’s card is lovely as there is nothing like a card received in the mail, especially a handmade one! I just read some older posts and learned how much you enjoy getting snail-mail which sadly is much less done and something I enjoy as well and would be happy to do with you. Please feel free to contact me by my email blog address. I hope that your husband is doing better and that you are feeling less stressed.
ReplyDeletegood morning I just replied back via your email
DeleteOh my, that card is incredible! We get a couple of cards a year for various reasons, but I do not think we have ever received a handmade card.
ReplyDeleteGood Morning, Handmade cards and hand written letters are the best. I enjoy writing "slow letters" so if you want to as well my contact form is here on my blog to swap addresses
DeleteHi Kathy! I hope Larry is feeling better. Our grass is getting longer and greener each day too. You take care my friend!
ReplyDeleteHi Debra, so glad you dropped by. we had super strong winds today and cold, so no working outdoors today. Larry is able to use his walker now but still has not been able to get out of the house since early October do to our steep steps-that will be a challenge for sure.
DeleteHappy new week
A happy early spring to you as well.
ReplyDeletethank you
DeleteOh Kathy Viola is certainly talented...such a beautiful card. Yes I know what you mean about mowing...it is coming faster that we can speak. Have a great week friend. Hugs!

That is a nice card for sure. We had 4 days of summer like weather. I got a lot done in the garden and now we are in 18 days of rain. Spring on the Oregon coast is tiring. Have a nice day today.
