Good morning, I know many from near where I live to the east coast is already or will be getting a major winter storm event.
Here so far this morning it is very cold already and very strong winds. We won't get much snow or ice, (it is a bit slippery out there right now) but we will be getting stronger winds as the day goes by and bitter cold. I took this video a little bit ago-from indoors looking out toward the lake The larger cities in Missouri like Kansas City will be getting allot of snowfall

No we are not expecting any rain / snow or sleet today either.. I guess thats a good thing.. the cold temps and wind will be bad enough.. Hubby thinks someone stole a faucet cover off our house.. we were just out looking for a replacement and the stores are sold out.. So now he will wrap it as best he can.. Stay warm my friend! Hugs! deb
ReplyDeleteoh wow that's a bummer about your faucet cover geesh. you stay warm too-hugs
DeleteAs the old timers (that's us now) used to say, "It's not fit for man or beast out there." We are getting light rain this morning which is expected to change over to snow in a bit. The wind is just now starting to blow. I am snug inside making pecan tarts/tassies. For the final batch I am using Bob's Red Mill gf flour. Take care!!!
ReplyDeleteyour pecan tarts sound delicious I have not made those, we didn't get rain-thank goodness as it would be an ice rink out there-we are at minus 5 degrees f after 8 p right now, another cold one tomorrow too-stay warm and safe hugs

ReplyDeleteThe wind here in Vergennes. Vermont is calmer for now, but expected to pick up again. Antenna lost some signals. Power outages, down trees and lines. Worse part is this afternoon flash freeze then snow.
