Still raining here in the Ozarks-Missouri which is keeping me way behind in outdoor projects-back to reading-smiles. The weather people are saying an inch today-and then rain all weekend-soooo that means the lake will be peaceful for enjoying the water fowl and birds looking out our windows.
Happy Friday and Weekend
Not around here. They still fish in the river when raining. I even saw eight trucks headed North pulling boats in the fog one morning. I though to myself...those guys are either crazy or just stupid. Hope you have fun reading a bit. Janice
ReplyDeleteYes there are some diehard fisherman here too-I don't mind the fisherman at all, it's those noisy pwc's (personal water crafts) that get noisy and very reckless here and the huge ocean boats-that started coming here during covid-Missouri had no restrictions during Biden's Presidency-out governor left it up to the business's and schools to decide--so for some reason those huge ocean boats came here.
DeleteSnoopy is the best 😊. I hope you aren't getting too wet dancing in the rain with him ...lol ❤️. Wishing you a very Happy June! Hugs, Jo x
ReplyDeleteI love Snoopy too-smiles. Yes today is a prefect day for dancing in the rain lol
DeleteRain's good for the garden
ReplyDeleteYes-we are just getting too much rain now
DeleteI"m sure you'll find lots of inside stuff to do but it does get old!
ReplyDeleteYes I have things I can do, or grab a good book too
DeleteI love the Charlie Brown illustration! Please send some rain here to Montreal! It is very hot, and smoke from the wildfires is seriously affecting the quality of air here, to the point that they are issuing warnings about going outside...wear a mask and limit time outdoors. I just went to the bank and did a grocery order to be delivered, I wore a mask and the sky is white, very hot and hazy.
ReplyDeleteSending you warm hugs and much love.
I love Charlie Brown and Snoopy too soooo sorry you are still dealing with all that smoke-you need some rain to help clear that out. we are getting too much rain at this point-but some years we get very little rain in the hot summer months so we take it when we can get it. take care hugs
DeleteOh i envy you the rain my friend! Its been almost a week now since we've had any.. We could use another dose.. .But none of those tornadoes up around Lubbock... they can keep those... Some of the images i've been seeing are just crazy... A rainy weekend like your having though sounds lovely.. curled up with a book... yeah i probably haven't seen that since we moved from Arkansas... I'll be out mowing this morning.. mowing the back yard... It doesn't grow as fast as the front.. for whatever reason.. and theres still alot of bare space and dirt back there too.. Well i better get busy sitting here talking about it is not getting it done..lol stay safe.. no bad storms just nice rain! Hugs! deb
ReplyDeleteGood morning, we are at the point now of too much rain. It is too wet to work outdoors-more rain today looks like and not much rain tomorrow but rain again on Monday. so I guess the rain is not moving out for now. we have had summers here in the ozarks with no rain at all-so I am being thankful-smiles
DeleteHave a good day "mowing" I am glad I got the side mowed that grows the fastest before all this rain came in. Not much we can do about it
Hugs
It has rained here every weekend for months. mostly nice in the week but next week is unsettled.
ReplyDeleteCathy
that would be depressing for those that work full time and look forward to the weekends. We have a lot of storms too on the weekends
DeleteIt rained here all day too, in fact so hard the road at the end of my driveway washed out. The town had to come and fix it, which they've needed to do some work there for quite a while. It has been a good reading day for us both I think. :) Stay dry. hugs-Erika
ReplyDeleteGood evening-looked and felt like rain all day-but did not-thinking it was all around us-very humid, I didn't get outdoors though-hopefully tomorrow I did read and also worked on my slow stitch bag
DeleteYou must have sent the rain our way...Friday it flooded here in places I have never seen it flood. We discovered to our neighbor's sorrow a wet weather spring running out of our hill and down their driveway. Dick said it was like a river flowing. Then yesterday got another inch and tenth in the rain gauge...more is expected this afternoon. Like you I am wanting to garden...think I will put on my plastic shoes and go pull weeds in spite of the rain. Hugs!
ReplyDeleteGood morning there has been so much rain all over this spring so far. Missouri can always use rain-as the rain goes right through the soil fast and then dry again but enough is enough smiles. we have had a lot of flooding in this area as well along with downed trees.
DeletePlastic shoes and a rain coat pulling weeds could be a bit fun-hugs
