Welcome to our weekly post of dishes cooked-baked in cast iron.
This week I thought I would search for recipes that are vegetarian
Tomato Cobbler with Cornmeal-Cheddar Biscuits
Beans and Rice Dip
Caprese Grilled Cheese
Warm Chick Peas Salad with Cumin and Garlic
Best Ever Beet and Bean Burger
and for dessert-Salted Caramel Vegan Skillet Brownie
Hi Kathy, once again you have me craving some lovely food after seeing your post, it's all so yummy! Have a great day, take care, hugs, Valerie
ReplyDeletethank you-happy weekend
DeleteI can never say no to grilled cheese! You have me drooling! (Ingo hates that cheese).
ReplyDeleteBeet and Bean Burger is added to my cooking-favs (had one bought at the grocery in Perth. Ugh. Big disappointment and certainly I got a "told you so"....).
A happy Friday to you - no training today but running outside (counts as well, does it?)
Yes running outside counts for sure
DeleteHappy weekend
I wish the hubby would eat more veggies because eating vegetarian a few days a week is a very good thing. Some of these look absolutely delicious. I say some because I might skip the beet burger. If I'm going to eat a burger, give me beef. Smile. Happy end of the week Kathy.
ReplyDeleteI agree-when I was a vegetarian-about 15 years or so-I didn't want foods that looked like meat I was thinking Elizabeth might like this one-I do like portobello mushrooms cooked down as a burger thought with a little balsamic vinegar Happy weekend
DeleteI see a “KathyinOzarks” restaurant in your future!
ReplyDeleteHow delicious looking.

DeleteThe rice and bean dip look super and those grilled cheese sandwiches are making my mouth water. I think the beet and bean burgers are not my thing, but thanks for thinking of me. YES, I love portobello mushrooms cooked on the grill.
ReplyDeleteHi Elizabeth-I think I need to grill up those large portobello mushrooms soon I thought that bean dip looked good too-happy weekend
