We saw the temperatures were to drop to 20 degrees f last night well it dropped much much lower and at 9:30 am has risen to 14 degrees brrrr it's cold and very very foggy here at the lake still.
I put some mail in the mailbox to go out today and grabbed my camera. Yep Jack Frost has been here for sure

DeleteI saw those arctic cold temperatures were dropping deep into the country. We were in the 50's today, but some cold and wind are coming our way tomorrow. Stay warm. I guess winter wants arrive. Hugs-Erika

DeleteSuch pretty photos! I looked out at the ground here this morning and it's all white. We have had a nice late fall here-some days up in the 60's so I can't complain! Maybe we'll have a mild winter this year.

DeleteOh fog! We had some as well this week. I don't like it. It makes me feel claustrophobic and being used to an arid dry climate, the fog makes me feel cold just because it's damp.Our temperatures are still quite mild.

ReplyDeleteThere are different types of frost (hoar frost) and fog (rime), and your photos look like you have them all.
I think they handle cold but perhaps in their nests? I think you are right about the frost

DeleteOooh, I loved seeing the fog photos, but not the ice coating on the trees. Ugh. 14 F? Brrr... It got cold here in CT, too, but not that bad. Although the weather people say that right now it feels more like January than December here. But we warm up to 50 F by the weekend. Yay!
