Good morning Saturday,
Thursday we had a surprise visit from our Realtor-He hands me a package and says Happy Valentine's Day. Inside was a frozen crab shrimp boil-Wow amazing gift.
I got a photo of it still frozen-but couldn't get a good photo while it was in the boiling water-then I forgot to take a photo when I plated it. I had heard of this new fish store a year ago and everyone we know that has tried it loves the food. This one had two pieces of corn on the cob, lots of little potatoes, spicy sausages, shrimp and crab. Also whipped butter with a little spice added

This was soooo delicious and an amazing thoughtful gift. We are getting serious now about getting our woods property sold.
Today we have a break in the weather so I can do a bit of food shopping and get in more distilled water-I use it in our commercial coffee maker and I just recently bought two small humidifiers to get some moisture in the air here. Easier to keep them cleaner using distilled water. After today we are plunging down to the minus numbers with wind-not good.

Wow that does look amazing! Reminds me of 'Joe's Crab Shack ' that we haven't been to since we left Arkansas... Yum!!! 70F day today... the warm before the brrrrr.... Hubs is off to golf and i'm going to a craft fair with the daughter sans kids! Then i hope a lovely afternoon in the craftroom... Hubs and i took a Valentine's Day trip to Fredericksburg and spent an overnight... We were so lucky in our flea market hunt... i'll have to tell you all about it.. :) Looks you and i both are going to have to hunker down with the cold... Tues we get down to 11!! and Wed we get down to 12F. Not as cold as you but downright nippy for us.. Stay warm girlfriend!! Hugs! deb

I have seen about the wintry storm headed to the east coast -ugh sounds awful. worse here is a little snow and ice but severe cold-down in minus teens at night-that will freeze the lake if it lasts too long

ReplyDeleteIt was a total surprise to see him again too-we chat online, but he is a very busy person. He has been showing out woods property for us. Said he wanted to come out and chat and surprised us with this feast-so delicious too
