Good Afternoon Monday,
Looking out our front door and looking up the hill into the trees-yep the eagle pair are here. I took a short video (turn up sound)
Always so grateful to see this pair close to the house.
I did grab my book again and used a tree and fox for inspiration
Also early this morning the wolf moon appeared out the front door We were in the low 20's F so I took this photo indoors through a glass window
Nice art. Thanks for the video.
ReplyDeletethank you so much, and your welcome they are still up there together since I took the video
DeleteOh, there's my favorite little woodland critter, the sly fox, or maybe not so sly. He's a real beauty, Kathy. What a fantastic job you did on this painting. And, the mouse is darling.
ReplyDeletethanks so much-this was a fun one
DeleteYour artwork has a cheerful charm. I see story illustrations in waiting. An eagle pair nearby is exciting!
ReplyDeletethank you so much, I am feeling better with art practices, the eagle pair is very special
DeleteWow, wow, two eagles together. That is a true treat. Love the art! Happy Creating!
ReplyDeleteYes we are blessed to have this breeding pair so close to the lake house where we live now. the previous owner told us to watch for them-and that she would greatly miss them-I look for them every day and listen for their songs too
DeleteWhat a true gift, Kathy!
DeleteLovely art. Have a nice week.
ReplyDeletethank you-and you as well
DeleteAre those love calls? Awww... (if so, I hope it wasn´t a discussion about who cleaned the nest - or dit not!)
ReplyDelete(animal) Fox is on tomorrow here, too :-)
Yours is cute!
Great moon-pics, hugs from here
Yes I think the eagles were talking to each other.
Deletethanks I think the fox turned out pretty cute, yesterday I did a fawn-didn't like the face very much will try again--this morning I am making the blackberry ink-found some nice large berries at the food store yesterday-slow process straining it out-will need another filtering I think too.
the moon has been so beautiful this month-it is the wolf moon this month hugs back
I was out all day and evening, and just got my Thursday post finished, so I am really running behind. I know I've been stressed lately, but I want to make sure I thanked you for the postcard you sent several days ago. I hope I did already, but if not, I apologize. I will be sharing it for T Tuesday next week.
ReplyDeleteThose eagles are amazing. Great you could get them to "talk" like that.
I saw the moon yesterday morning. It was BRIGHT. Love your photo.
Your watercolors and inks are wonderful. I confess that my favorite is still the bunny, but I'm loving that you are doing this daily. Have a super non stressed day, dear.
You have had allot going on especially losing your electricity for several days during cold weather. I am happy you got the postcard ok. We look for this eagle pair every day-this is the time of year we see them together-they will be breeding soon.
Deletethank you-I do like bunny too, and the fox wasn't too bad, the deer I need to try again-working on doing something creative every day. was happy with my blackberry ink I made yesterday.
Hoping you get non stressed-hugs
Sounds like I didn't notify you the postcard came. It may have come when I was offline. Thank you in advance and look for it on Monday afternoon. HOPEFULLY! I love how you colored it.
ReplyDeleteI love your brush painting. It's beautiful -- such a different and lovely style.
