I’ve never had luck growing lavender. The squirrel is funny! Your full moon shot reminds me I must get my November full moon doll posted. Only one more.
thanks Elizabeth, I have usually done well with my lavender plants-and this one was transplanted from the woods homes-the first year it didn't look good but it has bounced back
Beautiful photos Kathy! I love the squirrel. I was watching a few on my walk in the woods today, hopping about, hiding nuts, and whizzing up trees. So cute! Happy Friday, Alison
Judging from the way the pretty little squirrel's tail is blowing in the wind, it is certainly not a good day to be out working on the landscaping. I have never had much success with lavender, but I do love it. I also love the full moon's sparkles across the lake. There really are diamonds in the Ozarks! :~)
I have always had good luck with lavender-well until I bought the mail order ones. I bought some seed to start that way for next spring. the moon was glorious last night-and I didn't know their was an eclipse last nite too-missed that. Yes diamonds in the lake
Kathy, I was interested in seeing the Lake of the Ozark. Of course I went to Google and I see that you live in a very nice place with few inhabitants. The full moon has given you a wonderful show
Yes the full moon was really beautiful last night. right where we are most in my little area only come in the summer but that is changing as many are becoming full time residents now too. and this lake is totally craziness during the summer months.
Strangely some of my plants are blooming too. The squirrel tail is so funny. Great that you took a video of it. That is beautiful view out your window of the shimmering water and the moon.
That is really late for lavender to bloom, isn't it? Maybe it wanted one last chance at summer. Leaves are down here also. I think I have a bit of yard clean up to do in this upcoming week. Have a wonderful weekend Kathy. Hugs-Erika
Dear me Kathy! Are you lifting and moving rocks around again? Adorable video of the squirrel and very clear. It does looks like he is going to be swept away at any moment by the wind. Hold on little one! Fabulous full moon shot over the lake. I just never seem to get a decent moon snapshot it is always hazy. Take care. Amanda x
hI Amanda, yep that's me with the rocks-but I am being careful-If I want this done I need to do it-my husband is not healthy enough any more. Yes it was really really windy the squirrel was too cute to watch. He stayed there for quite some time too. I don't usually get moon shots at all with my camera-I caught this photo when there was still daylight but as you can see the photo came out dark. in the dark I can not get a photo at all. Happy weekend-thanks for dropping by Hugs
