Hi Everyone,
I have been working on my newest journal page painting for a few days now. I actually really liked this one. I did try to paint in rocks on the left side-didn't look like rocks, so tried to turn it into a large tree-ugh did not like that at all either so painted all over it-and finished up the left side this way. I am still pleased with the flowers especially.
I am sharing my painting on Try It On Tuesday for the new theme Beauty of Nature. I also thought I would post for the first time on Paint Party Friday
I am a brand new painter-this is my first attempt with flowers
The small photo I found in a magazine was my inspiration.
all photos will enlarge just click on them
My inspiration photo
Brrrr the weather is changing here strong winds, temperatures dropping all day and rain coming in.
Yesterday though here was a couple of my lake views
Happy Friday and Weekend everybody

ReplyDeleteI love the cone flowers too, and was happy with my painted flowers-thanks this one did turn out pretty nice compared to some of the others hugs
DeleteYour painting is beautiful. You are doing quite well with this form of artwork. (If I tried to paint, it would look like stick figures.) It looks cold on the water. I like your sunrise (or sunset) photo.
ReplyDeleteYes and it is even colder this saturday morning here. I could only paint stick figures as well-haha this one is much improved thank you

Love your painting and the photos of the Lake View are beautiful ♥ I have always wanted to live by water.
ReplyDeleteThank you Carol, this is something Larry wanted to do, our woods home was too much work now for his health issues-and he loves to fish-I am glad we are here now-isolated but not-always something to see on the lake, and we see people too unlike being in the woods. now if the virus would go away we can finish up the woods house and sell
DeleteLovely painting and welcome to Paint Party Friday.
